A planning range for child support.
Compare each parent’s share of income with their share of annual overnights. This gives you a neutral starting point—not a court prediction.
Income share meets parenting time.
Enter both incomes, the number of children, and a full year of overnights to see an estimated monthly transfer.

Explain these results
One model, not your state’s rulebook
This tool uses a simplified income-shares approach. It estimates a combined child-rearing budget, assigns that budget by each parent’s share of income, then gives credit for each parent’s share of overnights. Actual guidelines vary by state and may add childcare, health insurance, medical costs, other children, existing support orders, taxes, low-income protections, and court-approved adjustments.
