Your final grade is a weighted average: (what you have earned so far) times (the weight already graded) plus (what you earn on remaining work) times (the weight still left). Working that equation backwards for the unknown part gives this formula: (target grade minus current grade times the weight already graded) divided by the weight remaining. A required average above 100% means the math asks for more than perfect scores, so the target is not possible. Between 95% and 100% is a stretch — one low quiz can sink it. At 95% or below, you have real room for error.
